Tiziana D’Angelo

Born in Rome on September 11, 1971, she attended the classical lyceum and graduated in Political Science at the ‘La Sapienza’ University in the Italian capital.

She entered the diplomatic career in 1999, starting at the Press and Information Office of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

From 2002 to 2006, she’s assigned to the Permanent Representation of Italy to the European Union in Brussels (Belgium).

From 2006 to 2010, she heads the Commercial Office of the Embassy of Italy in Tel Aviv (Israel).

From 2010 to 2014, she’s Counsellor and Deputy-Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Crisis Unit in Rome.

From 2014 to 2016, she’s assigned to the Permanent Representation of Italy to the European Union, coinciding with the semester of Italian Presidency of the body.

From 2016 to 2018, she’s the spokesperson for the Minister and Head of the Press Office at the Ministry of Economic Development.

In 2018, she’s Deputy Chief of Information at the Press and Information Office of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Since february 2022 she’s Consul General at the Consulate General of Italy in Shanghai (PRC).

She’s married and mother of three.
